It’s officially the end of the first Fashion Week 2017. And even though it is the most exciting, exhilarating and beautiful time in the year, being back home with my three men is pure bliss. Nothing smells and feels better than holding your baby in your arms, your toddler on your lap and resting in the arms of your man. But enough sappy feel-good stories – you have asked a lot of questions about the fashion week, and I am here to answer them!
Milan’s weather was a bit better, so getting around in full ensemble was easy and not too cold. It was the first fashion week with my new team mates from Glam-o-meter, which is launching in two weeks, and I loved the spirit. With 3 fashionistas who are dedicated and hardworking, there is nothing you cannot achieve!

Paris, on the other hand seemed hell-bent on freezing us in our little pumps and thin dresses. It rained night and day, frizzling hair, ruining socks and sogging schedules. But in times of difficulties one needs to woman-up, so we did what we do best: we accessorized! Umbrellas all the way, and with Paris being such a beautiful city, it wasn’t bad at all.

I get many requests about which shows I liked best, which hotels to stay in and what restaurant hot spots are good to show off a new look. In Milan as well as in Paris it is quite difficult because both cities are so diverse, beautiful and they celebrate life to the fullest. I only had a few days, so I couldn’t try out everything, but here are a few of the things I did:

In Milan, I had to go to Ceresio 7 again, where I celebrated my birthday last year. I simply love it there. And I discovered a restaurant that is rumoured to be Armani’s favourite, called “Le Spezialitata”. My favourite show was definitely Max Mara this year. I adored every single piece, I could buy the whole collection!

In Paris, there are a few restaurants that you just can’t dodge (and why would you – they are fabulous!) L’Avenue and Costa are the best for people watching and eating great little nibbles. A new place called “Mango Kabare” completely blew my mind this year! The show and the people where superb, I highly recommend it! This year Balenciaga and Celine’s shows were the best. What style and grace. Of course, I indulged in my tea time at Palace Athenee and did an itsy bitsy bit of shopping for a J’ADORE bag by Dior – HEY! I’m only human!

All the while I was keeping my eyes open for trends and styles for you, my dears. Allow me to share my insight:

  • New sporty chic caps (Vetements & Balenciaga)
  • Wearing socks with sandals
  • Striped tops with a trench coat
  • Over-knee boots with a sporty trench
  • Long leather skirts
  • Oversized blue striped shirt together with a high neck sweater and jogging pants by Vetements
  • Big earrings by J.W Anderson
  • Leather trench coat
  • Pink accessories (Miu miu and Loewe)
  • Dramatical sleeves jacket by Dries Van Noten
  • Denim all over with a colourful sweater

I hope you enjoyed this summary of the fashion Weeks. Please do leave comments and questions, I’ll get back to you as soon as possible!
