Farfetch Ladies Launch-Dinner in Germany
When my friend and PR, Natalie LeFevre approached me about hosting the Farfetch launch Dinner in Munich, you can imagine how psyched I was… I’m sure you know about the online store with the wonderful concept of connecting over 300 boutiques under one address. If you can’t get a collection item at Farfetch, it’s probably sold out everywhere else!
Natalie and I thought it would be a great idea to host this exclusive launch at my new house, so we organized a lovely dinner with help of the professional and very sweet Farfetch PR team. As a highlight the Austrian fur label “Liska” did a presentation of the new collection, showing off the luxurious and compelling pieces for winter 2015/16.
Natalie and I went through our friends-list to invite those of them we knew were interested in fashion as well as a few chosen Farfetch customers living near Munich (yay, new friends!), and we exchanged ideas, favourites and phone numbers while snacking on Käfer Catering food. My little prince was curious and a bit puzzled about all the people coming in and out of the house, the catering cooks and elegant guests, I have the suspicion he thought we were throwing him another birthday party. I must admit that he almost stole Farfetch the show, but on the other hand I’m his mother, so I guess my opinion is a bit biased…
Farfetch provided me with this gorgeous outfit: Stella McCartney overall, Saint Laurent bag and Gianvitto shoes… this out feels sexy and playful – exactly what a woman needs from time to time.
