I know many of you may be mourning the end of the summer, but autumn has a lot to offer, if you think about it… The kids are going to kindergarten/school, fallen leaves begin to crunch, pumpkin spice lattes are getting made and the fall/winter collections are coming out! I’m admittedly very excited about Luca going to kindergarten. It will be his first time with a big group of children his age, and a big step to becoming a little boy and not just a toddler.

While you are getting ready to reconquer your workplace after vacation and step up for the rest of the year, you might be secretly wondering what to wear. While most people say “You are what you eat.” I like to think “You are what wear!” All that creativity, that unique thinking and intuition finds its way through your wardrobe and onto your body, carrying you through a day of accomplishments.

Bianca May Jagger lead the 70ies back to fashion, definitely one of my favourite trends, and I’m letting her look inspire my back-to-work outfits for this season. And to take it to a whole other level of fun, I suggest you match your baby girls, baby boys outfit with yours… maybe also get your school child to partner their look with you, but good luck with the teenagers, ha! I like to look out for partner outfits for Luca after I’ve bought something for myself. It might be cheesy, but it’s too cute not to do.

As an example I’m happy to show you my white suit from Chloe. Inspired by Bianca, of course. The suit with a black Saint Laurent purse and classic but cool shades from The Row just make an awesome look. I’m absolutely digging hats at the moment, too. Add any type of hat you like, it will most likely up your outfit. Lucas counter piece is this cute blazer by “Fay” with a jumpsuit from Tartine de Chocolat, Zara sneakers and Zara t-shirt. If that is not adorable, I don’t know what is!

My second look is bringing a splash of colour into a business outfit. Work clothes do not have to be dreary to be respectable, be brave! Here I combined a MSGM skirt with a Paula Cademartori bag. Both brands are Italian, and do an amazing job. Just finish the look with a safari Burberry blazer, Sophia Webster pumps and deep purple shades aviators from Victoria Beckham.

Luca, once again my partner in crime, is in the cutest “Mini Rodini” elephant overall which I adore combined with Zara military sneakers to keep the look playful yet colour-coordinated.

I hope you enjoy going back to work and I wish your children a beautiful school start!
