Now we are finally experiencing what mothers have told me would come, but OH MY, I had no idea it would be this exhilarating and exhausting! – Luca has taken his first steps, and is at his most energetic ever. Luca is so full of curiosity and drive to conquer the house that we can barely get him to eat a quick meal before his exploration adventures carry on. He jumps from driving all his big and little cars around (Tiffany, our French bulldog hasn’t yet decided whether to be happy or scared about that), to reading his books, to playing ball, to go for a quick dip in the pool and play with the water toys…

…and we’re talking about 15 minutes here…

I am a bit speechless and I confess that I do get bleary eyed every once in a while when I watch how Luca’s personality is slowly unravelling into that unique little person he is going to be. His attention is now more towards the educational toys and learning than before, and it is always clear what he likes, and what he doesn’t.
