It’s just a few short days until 2016 goes to an end, and I look back both with happiness and sadness as I see what has happened in this very turbulent year, yet there were so many beautiful moments full of love and light, that I feel it has been all in all a good year. Especially considering that Matteo joined the family…This may be my last post this year, and there is much left to say. The end of the year is quite important to me, both privately – being able to spend special moments with my loved ones – and fashion wise. Throughout the year there is no other time one has so many festive events so close to each other. This allows me to indulge in all the stunning creations I can find and get creative on a whole other level. I can try out colours, accessories and looks that are sparkly and ostentatious without feeling like I need to dial back
2017 is absolutely going to be the year of “…” and all colours of red are going to be trending. If you chose a different colour of dress – do not worry, you can always wear red lingerie or just add some accessories.
Some of you may not know that Munich’s cherished store, Lodenfrey, has an amazing collection of evening gowns. You can find any brand from Jenny Packham to Elie Saab and many more, and once you know what you’re getting, you can just head down one or two floors and get matching accessories. The staff is extremely helpful and knows the collections in and out, so you’ll probably end up looking like a movie star.
I did just that for this entry and ended up with three beautiful outfits that hopefully can help inspire you for New Year’s Eve and more:
This beautiful Elie Saab outfit, blouse and skirt in red, combined with an amazing Rochas Clutch adorned with brooch details.
This gorgeous Jenny Packham rose pastel sequin dress, that sparkles with every step you take and my personal Lady Dior bag.
Last, but not least, a short and glittery Missoni fringe dress for all the ladies who want to dance the night away.
If I could, I would wear them all three at the same time, I’m very enamoured. Wearing any of the outfits will make you feel like Cinderella, who knows what a magical night in them will bring you. I think I will take them to wear at my favourite restaurant in town, the very stylish and trendy Rocca Riviera.
Why not pass by their Munich flag shop and see if you fall in love, too. If you are too far away or are lacking time, you can browse their evening wear online at:
Before I disappear in a sea of gift wrapping, Christmas roast and candles, I just wanted you to know that I appreciate every single reader, like, follow and comment. You guys give me the strength to go on, keep looking for inspiration and making my passion a job. I love you all and from the bottom of my heart I wish you a merry, merry Christmas, a happy new year and a beautiful 2017!
