Having spent such a magical and wonderful holiday with my family in Tuscany, I really feel the need to add a new category to my Blog: ‘International Interior Design’. Those few days filled me up with energy and inspiration, and I really would like to share them with you!
The main charm of the Tuscan landscape and design is not luxury or excess, but a beautiful simplicity and pure, natural essence. Being there, breathing the fresh clean air and eating the simple but delicious Tuscan dishes is simply deeply relaxing.
Here you can see a few pictures of what I call a perfect Tuscan house… Cosy, bohemian and absolutely designed with love. It blends in with the surrounding landscape, complimenting and highlighting nature with its stone walls, wooden aspects and vintage frames. The timeless details (candles, lamps and the lovely lounge chairs) contribute to the stunning look.
Just a few steps away from the house you find yourself surrounded by lemon trees and olive branches, making the Tuscan experience even more intense. I love how the new carpets sport a vintage patina to round up the look without losing comfort. This is, indeed, a place to wind down, relax and just enjoy life!
