How Porsche Save fashion Week
Being in Paris during Fashion week is a dream in itself. In every café sits a fashion designer, a muse, model or celebrity. The beautiful and ornament facades of the buildings house shows, events and glamorous parties as the world of fashion floods into Paris full of energy and wonder.
Unfortunately getting around in Paris is more the stuff of nightmares: it seems like every taxi is busy, there is no Uber, and let’s be honest, most fashionable shoes are not meant for cobblestone and long walks between happenings. I don’t know how many times I have thanked the heavens for sending me my own personal Cinderella-Carriage in shape of a Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. Comfortably seated I zipped through the city, barely perceiving the stressful city noises under the soft but powerful hum of 550 horsepower. The sleek and beautiful exterior of Porsche’s favourite fits perfectly to the elegant and form-fitting interior.
Partnering with Porsche was truly the cherry on top of a head-to-toe fashion experience in Paris, giving the term ‘traveling in style’ a whole new dimension. In fact, I think my car may have stolen the show a few times when I stepped out of my ride into a waiting pre-show crowd. The lime-lights happily shared, of course.
I have always been a car enthusiast and being married to a recreational race driver has taught me one of the other thing, so I already knew what a treat would be awaiting me with the Panamera. And the one thing that finished my Paris-Porsche experience to perfection was the lovely driver and extremely hospitable Porsche Team. Thank you, you made my trip a dream-come-true.
