Every now and then we need to slow down and give our bodies and minds the opportunity to regenerate and detox.
While I do not believe in diets or juicing, since periodic starvation only leads to the yoyo effect, I do think that soft detox is essential for one’s wellbeing. Start slow, have a detox day once a week then twice a week and so on, then gradually increase your days to 5 in a row. You will find yourself being better rested, radiant and even a bit slimmer. As you know, I am addicted to tea, and have made that addiction my virtue. Many of the herbal fusions of tea have beneficiary effects other than tasting great. With a little herbal help you can boost your immune system, support relaxation or even energize yourself. Here is my little tea-detox, time tested by myself to my full satisfaction:
